We enjoyed excellant location and stuff. We dined out at Sawadee Thai Restaurant, set metres from the hotel.
-
Great location, public parking. The host is lovely. It was near to Brighton Beach.
-
Magnificent location and friendly staff were a definite plus. Only 20 minutes on foot from Brighton railway station. Satisfactory breakfast. Not to mention free Wi-Fi...
-
Location is good - very close to Brighton Pier.Room was spotless and staff were helpful.
Not ideal for families with small children, as rooms are not huge.
-
Location is pretty good and the owner arranged to get breakfast before advertised start time when the course I was attending was starting too early to otherwise have made having breakfast possible.
The room was small and although there was a shower and wash basin in the room the toilet was on the landing and shared with 2 other rooms. I did raise this with the owner because my booking had said private bathroom and I took this to mean that the toilet was also private. He did offer me the chance to upgrade to a double room but the cost was out with my budget for this trip.

Very Friendly and helpful staff, good sized, clean and comfortable single room. Traditional seaside B&B, Excellent value for money, would be happy to recommend to anyone.
-
Manager was helpful when I arrived and took my cases up to the room
Use of my Christian name. Nobody on duty after 11.00 p.m. in case of emergency

We enjoyed our stay at Marine View and would go again. My only grievance was that Booked.net advertised all the rooms as being on suite and in fact they are not. My elderly mother was with us and had to go to the toilet outside of her room, this was quite unacceptable especially as you as a company had said all rooms on suite.

Good internet connection
Terrible to park your car, one day 30 min searching for a space
-
warm, clean accomodation good location
Room sold as en suite..... However there was a shared toilet.... To me this does NOT count as an En suite ......

Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful. Comfortable bed. Good advice given re cheap parking.
Was given a room with a shared toilet when I had booked ensuite/private bathroom. Owner took no responsibility for this and refused to upgrade me for one night (the most he could do) and allow me to find alternative accommadation for following night. This was a big problem for me, and my misgivings were proved correct when there was no loo roll on my second night... Also, the bedside lamp obviously had a loose wire as it kept flickering and buzzing depending on the position of the flex.

The location was really good for us - it was within easy walking distance of the event we were attending, the local shops, places to eat and The Lanes area of Brighton. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The tea making facility in the room was most welcoming on such a cold weekend and included herbal teas. The Hotel team were friendly and explained about the keys, breakfast time etc on arrival. The breakfast chef was not thrown by my asking for a cooked breakfast with no meat or a peppermint tea.

Owner was super friendly. He made me breakfast even though I had totally overslept. Location was great, few minutes to the beach and a few minutes into town.
widows were a little drafty. would have liked a key to my separate bathroom. Other guests thought its a public bathroom which was not the case!

Price mainly but also friendliness and helpfulness of proprietor and ability to come and go as I pleased

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice breakfast also v g location for sea/town and cafes/restaurants and very quiet room as requested.
Expensive parking but that's Brighton. Could have done with a new duvet cover but overall vg and would definitely stay again.
